Visual artist Hannah Cole (
www.hannahcole.net ) brings her work to the
Alpha Gallery in Boston. She uses paint as a vehicle to express the movement of internal thoughts in life. She captures moments in the car from the driver's point of view, or from the passengers point of view - where we are stuck with our own thoughts. In the busy urban environment, one of the few times we are truly alone is inside of our vehicle. Cole reminds us that the car can be a shrine for contemplating, not merely a mode of transporitation.
Show on September 9th through October 4th, 2006.
